Shipping costs

  All shipping costs are processed and added to the total at the time of your order. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Shipping method

East of the Mississippi River , we deliver by our own trucking or UPS ground, whichever is best in the jurisdiction of J.A.M.Light . West of the Mississippi River , LED power supplies and HO ballasts are the only items available at this time. We ship UPS ground for all LED power supplies and HO ballasts or they will be drop shipped to you by the manufacturer.

Standard delivery date

All orders are shipped on the standard delivery date except LED power supplies and HO ballasts, which are shipped when the money is received. The standard delivery date falls on every other Monday. The standard delivery date will be on the website or you can email or call for it. Parties who have learned to order on the Thursday before the standard delivery date have become accustomed to prompt delivery and low prices. Have all credit card orders in by 1:00 PM EST on the Thursday before the standard delivery date. Payment by money orders and checks must wait for the funds to clear our bank.

Payment by Credit Card

If you pay by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express), your order will ship on the next standard delivery date or next day if ordering HO ballasts.

How do I know it's safe to submit my credit card number?

During the order process, if you choose to make your payment by credit card, you will enter a secured area of our web site. (A key, lock, or chain may appear in your browser's status bar to show that you are in a secure area.) In this secure area, your information will be encrypted and processed by VeriSign, the leader in secure Internet commerce.

Payment by Money Order

If you pay by money order, we must wait till the funds clear our bank and your order will ship on the next standard delivery date.

Payment by Check

If you pay by check, we will hold your order till the money clears our bank (10 days to three weeks).

What happens if my order is lost or damaged?

Thankfully, these instances are rare. If your order is lost J.A.M.Light runs a quick trace if the package is lost. Once it has been confirmed that the delivery people have misplaced it, we will send a replacement order. If an item arrives damaged, please note any obvious damage or shortage while applying your signature at the time of delivery and make all claims for replacement or credit within 14 days of delivery. To return any mistaken or damaged item, please email us at alan@flasuncoast.net to obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA). For damaged orders, keep the original box and all packaging materials for possible inspection by the carrier and/or return to J.A.M.Light. J.A.M.Light may at any time limit the number of delivery attempts based on unfavorable delivery history resulting from, but not limited to, damage, loss, or theft.

Order Changes or Cancellations

Normally, if you realize quickly enough that you would like to make a change, it can be done before the delivery process gets to far. All changes need to be in by 1:00 PM EST on the Thursday before the standard delivery date.

Returning an order

Once you receive an item and find for some reason that you need to return it, there is a 35% restocking fee. You must return the item with an RMA [Return Merchandise Authorization] number printed clearly on the package. An RMA must be requested within 30 days of the original invoice date. Thereafter, all sales are final. To get an RMA number, email us or call us and we will send it right out to you. A 50% restocking fee will be assessed on all returns without an RMA number. We will only accept returns in ‘as new' condition accompanied by any and all literature or sales manuals previously provided by the manufacturer in the package. It is your responsibility to insure the item. We must receive the return within 10 business days of the RMA issued date.

Should you need to return an item because of material defects, which causes the item not to work properly please email us or call us and we will replace the product once you have returned it to us in the original package.

Will J.A.M.Light sell my name and address?

No. All information you may provide is used only by J.A.M.Light. Our goal is to keep your trust and continue a healthy long lasting business relationship you can depend on. We are aware that our business is only as strong as our customers' faith in our business practices. J.A.M.Light will not lower our standards by selling our customers' private information.
